1. The All Progressives Congress, APC, and its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has come under fire their decision to place his running mate, Kabiru Masari as a placeholder was an indication that the APC is not smart.

Governor of Delta State, said making Masari a placeholder showed that APC was not organized and not ready for election.
2. Following the selection of Kabiru Masari as placeholder cum tentative presidential running mate to the All Progressives Congress (APC) standard bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, interest groups have continued to push forward their preferred candidates.
The group said that the youth are a united wing of the party and therefore would not bother whether the candidate is Muslim or Christian, stressing that the only condition should be the competence and capacity of the prospective young VP.
3. The Tinubu Vanguard, a support group of the former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has pledged that all those who supported his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate would not be abandoned.
The director-general of the organisation, Dr Johnny Benjamin, said yesterday in Abuja that the northern state governors and other stakeholders would always be carried along during Tinubu campaigns and after he may have been voted by Nigerians in 2023.

4. Elder Statesman and founding member of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, has said that there is nothing wrong with Muslim-Muslim ticket and that the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is the best candidate from the South.
5. Senior pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has disclosed that none among the top three presidential candidates vying for the 2023 presidency will make a good president.
According to the popular pastor, the constitution of the country, which is defective, will hinder anyone who has the intention to perform.
6. Ahead of the 2023 elections, the Lagos State chapter of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo socio-cultural organization, has refuted reports that it dumped Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi and endorsed Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
President of the chapter, Sunday Ossai, said the misleading claim that Ohanaeze in Lagos dumped Obi for Tinubu was from the pit of hell.
6. Senator Umaru Al-Makura, an APC chieftain from Nasarawa has said the choice of Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is the best for Nigeria.

Al-Makura, a member of the ‘Think-Tank of Tinubu for President’, made the claim during a meeting with various support groups from Nasarawa State for the candidate on Tuesday.
