Today, June 29, 2022 on update on Bola Tinubu, IDOMA VOICE looks at the latest activities, news on the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This segment highlights some of his activities, commentaries and opinions on the APC presidential candidate.

1. A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday, refused to grant a motion, seeking an order compelling Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from accepting Bola Tinubu as presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Justice Inyang Ekwo, in a ruling, ordered the plaintiffs; Incorporated Trustees of Rights for All International (RAI) and Northern Nigerian Youth Democrats (NNYD) to put the defendant on notice.

2. Presidential candidate and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, travelled out of the country early yesterday after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
According to a statement by his aide, Tunde Rahman, Tinubu jetted off to Paris, France to hold some important meetings and is expected back in the country, shortly.

3. THE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Organisation has said it is not aware of a suit by the Action Alliance, AA, seeking to disqualify Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC, from the 2023 presidential poll because it has not been served with the process.
The AA approached the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, asking it to bar the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from including the name of the APC in the ballot for the 2023 presidential election.

4. Groups campaigning for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, have started consultations and negotiations with other political parties without presidential candidates, The PUNCH has learnt.
It was gathered on Monday that the support groups, which are based in the South-West but have presence in other geopolitical zones, are considering alliances with the parties with the plan to get them to endorse Tinubu for presidency.

5. A political party, Action Alliance, has asked a Federal High Court in Abuja to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission from including the name of the All Progressives Congress in the ballot of the 2023 presidential election.

The party also asked the court for an order restraining the commission from accepting the name of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the APC presidential candidate in the forthcoming general elections.

6. In light of several controversies trailing the supposed loss of Bola Tinubu’s credentials, his dummy running mate, Kabir Ibrahim Masari, has informed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) his school certificates were also missing.

A sworn affidavit for the loss of some original documents submitted to the electoral commission by Mr Masari and seen by Peoples Gazette, showed that the APC vice presidential candidate had misplaced vital documents including C of O of one plot KT 17522 in Katsina state, his Grade II certificate from Katsina Teachers College and his primary school certificate.

8. Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has blamed the controversies trailing the certificate and educational qualifications of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on the inefficiency of the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Uzodimma said there would have been no controversy on the certificates of Tinubu if the Commission had a functional server.
