1. More Nigerians have continued continued to voice their anger and frustration on the decision of Bola Tinubu to pick a fellow Muslim has his running mate. Many of them believe that Tinubu and the ruling party want to set Nigeria on fire.
2. The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso has said he will support his counterpart from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, if he perceives he cannot win.
He claimed he had good rapport with the APC national leader in the past and could not underrate his capabilities and tactics to manage Nigeria’s affairs.
3. Governors of the All Progressives Congress on Monday paid a sallah homage to President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura.
After a closed door meeting with the President, the Governors said they were pleased with Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s choice of Kassim Shettima as his running mate in the 2023 presidential election.

5. Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah, Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese has said the decision by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to present Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidential election was a teamwork based on calculation of what would work for the party.
In a statement he personally signed on Monday, Kuka said the decision by the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu to pick Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate should not be a thing to worry about.
6. The founder of Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations Kyiv Ukraine, Pastor Sunday Adelaja, has declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be elected President.
Adelaja, in a post on his verified Facebook page titled: NIGERIA, BEHOLD YOUR NEXT PRESIDENT” said the former Lagos Governor will win because of 10 reasons he listed.
7. Youths and students in the All progressive congress (APC) have cried out to the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu to wade into the issue.
The group led by Mazi Ezenwa Onyirimba at a parley with students unions from the six geopolitical zones of the country believed that Tinubu have the wherewithal to address the grievances of the lecturers.
8. A legal practitioner and member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Daniel Bwala, has quit the ruling party over Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidential election.
He said his decision was “based on principles and conviction that I hold so dear.
9. The Convener of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Edwin Clark, has berated the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola, Tinubu, over the choice of former Borno State Governor, Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
In a statement on Sunday in Abuja, Clark stated that Nigeria risk being threatened following the choice of Shettima who is a Muslim as the APC Vice Presidential candidate.
10. The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja Diocese, Most Rev. Ignatius Kaigama, described the choice of APC Muslim-Muslim ticket as unfortunate.
Archbishop Kaigama maintained that Nigeria as a country was not ripe for a same faith Presidential ticket.
