1. Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has prayed for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his 2023 ambition.
Otedola, in a tweet, expressed joy after visiting Tinubu in Paris, France.
2. Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, has expressed his support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
This show of support drew mixed reactions, as many flooded his comment section with their varying opinions, with many questioning the businessman if he would employ the presidential candidate for key positions in his enterprise.
3. Disgruntled youths under the umbrella of the North East Stakeholders Forum of the All Progressives Congress have kicked against the open endorsement of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, by Tinubu Support Organisation as the ideal candidate for the vice presidential slot.
The TSO had described El-Rufai as the best among the contenders being proposed as running mate to the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
4. Several women in the All Progressives Congress have mobilised support for the presidential ambition of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 elections. This is according to his support group under the aegis of the APC Nigeria Women in Politics.
The national convener of the APC WIP, Princess Bolanle Kazeem, stated these in an interview with journalists at the Unity Fountain demonstration ground in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, during a mobilisation rally held for Tinubu and sensitisation of women to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards for them to vote in next year general election.
5. Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has revealed what the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently going through in his quest for a substantive running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
The Governor pointed out that there are so many factors being considered in picking Tinubu’s running mate, thereby making it somewhat difficult for the former Lagos State Governor.
6. The Incorporated Trustees of Center for Reform and Public Advocacy, a civil society organisation (CSO), has sued Usman Baba, inspector-general of police (IGP), over his alleged refusal to prosecute Bola Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.
In a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/1058/2022 and filed on July 4, the group claimed that Tinubu lied under oath when he tendered his credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in 1999.
7. Tijani Remilekun Usman, an international businessman and chief Executive officer of BELTIJ Ltd has declared support for the re-election of Osun Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
He also threw his weight behind the ambition of the All Progressives Congress( APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed in 2023.
8. A group, the Nigeria Democracy Defence Watch, has appealed to the All Progressives Congress and its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, against presenting a Muslim-Muslim ticket in the 2023 presidential election.
The group made the appeal in a letter to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), titled: “APC’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket in Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: A Threat to National Stability, Regional Peace and Security.”
