On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu swore in eight newly appointed federal permanent secretaries.
The inauguration took place at the State House in Abuja just before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting commenced.
President Tinubu had earlier approved the appointment of these permanent secretaries to address existing and impending vacancies in various states and geopolitical zones within the top administrative cadre of the Civil Service of the Federation.
According to Naija News, this information was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement.
President Tinubu noted that the new federal permanent secretaries were selected through a diligent process conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. He expects the appointees to demonstrate absolute dedication, diligence, and loyalty to the nation in their roles and to ensure optimal service delivery to the Nigerian people.
