Torkwase Kpile: Benue lady allegedly murders husband 2 months into marriage

A 29-years old lady identified as Torkwase Kpile, has allegedly murdered her 39 years old husband, Igbah Kpile, two months into their marriage.

The incident happened in the early hours of on Sunday, 12th May, 2024 at Achussah Village in Makurdi, the Benue State Capital during a disagreement over sex.

A source close to the location of the incident who wouldn’t want his name mentioned said, the couple went into an argument over sex before the lady picked up a kitchen knife, stabbed her husband on the neck and other parts of his body until he eventually collapsed.

Some neighbouring tenants rushed to the scene of the incident on hearing Igbah’s screaming but met him in a pool of his blood while the wife standing and shouting without without remorse with more anger against her husband for insisting on having sex without her despite her refusal.

Mr Igbah died while he was being rushed to a nearby clinic.

As at the time of filing this report, Torkwase was still at large as a detachment of police has been deployed to search, apprehend her and bring her to justice.
