Tottenham move to sign Mbappe from PSG

Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as a surprising contender in the race to secure the signature of football sensation Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.

With speculation surrounding Harry Kane’s potential move to Bayern Munich, Tottenham sees the Frenchman as the ideal replacement for their star striker. Mbappe, who has been put up for sale by PSG, has garnered immense interest from top clubs worldwide.

According to Marca, Tottenham is the latest club to express their interest in acquiring the services of the prolific forward. The Premier League side is eager to join the race and is preparing for discussions with both PSG and Mbappe’s representatives.

However, securing Mbappe’s signature will not be an easy task for Tottenham, as they face stiff competition from several football giants. Clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Saudi Arabian teams are also vying for the 24-year-old’s highly sought-after services.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is determined to make the most of the situation and has made it clear that they will not allow Mbappe to leave on a free transfer. While open to retaining the striker, PSG expects him to commit to a new deal to secure his future at the club.
