There was a momenta apprehension in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, on Wednesday, after an evangelism caught fire in the city center.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that the situation caused motorists, road-side traders and hawkers to scamper for safety.
According to a local news medium, ShomExpress, the bus which was coming from the popular Wurukum Roundabout, caught fire at Oturkpo road, opposite Sterling Bank, Makurdi.
The site reported that the bus was burned to the scratch, but didn’t not state whether there was casualty or not. The name of the church that owned the ill-fated evangelism bus was also not given.
It was learnt that the Fire service in Makurdi did not intervene.
