Another player, Alex Collado, on Friday evening left Barcelona to join Spanish club Granada FC on loan following Philippe Coutinho’s departure from Camp Nou.
Barcelona confirmed this in a statement via their website ahead of their LaLiga tie with Granada on Saturday.
Recall that Coutinho had earlier on Friday left Barcelona to join Premier League side Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the season.
The statement read, “FC Barcelona and Granada CF have reached an agreement for the loan of Àlex Collado until the end of the season.
“The player joined the club in the summer of 2010 when he was just 11 years old. He rose up through the youth ranks and eventually became part of Barça B, and later its captain.
“Collado, born in Sabadell, Catalonia, has always been an essential component of the team and has made 83 appearances in total, scoring 18 goals, including some absolute gems.”
