Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis is reportedly set to complete a deadline-day transfer to Turkish League side Başakşehir.
Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that the Super Eagles forward is on the verge of finalizing a loan move to join Istanbul’s Başakşehir, with no option to buy included in the deal.
Although Emmanuel Dennis had been linked to Adana Demirspor recently, he has ultimately opted to join Başakşehir.
Dennis found himself excluded from the squad and falling down the pecking order at the City Ground, having not played a single minute for Forest this season. Head coach Steve Cook has favored Taiwo Awoniyi, Chris Wood, and Anthony Elanga over him.
The 25-year-old forward made the switch to Forest from Watford after contributing a total of 16 goals (10 goals and 6 assists) during his time at Watford, but he struggled to meet expectations at Forest.
