Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis has made the journey to Turkey to finalize his transfer to Istanbul Basaksehir.
Dennis will be joining the former Turkish Super Lig champions for the remainder of the season, departing from Premier League club Nottingham Forest.
While Turkish club Adana Dermispor also expressed interest in the player, Dennis chose to pursue the move to Istanbul Basaksehir.
The 25-year-old has found himself sidelined at Nottingham Forest during this season. Despite his versatility as a striker, he was not part of Forest’s matchday squad for the initial four league games of the season.
Dennis made the switch to Nottingham Forest from Sky Bet Championship club Watford last summer, during which he contributed two goals in 16 league appearances under the management of Steve Cooper.
