Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has decided to reject a lucrative £1 million-a-week offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad this summer. After consulting with his family, the Belgian star chose to stay with the Premier League champions.
Al-Ittihad manager Laurent Blanc was optimistic about securing De Bruyne’s signature. However, according to the UK Mirror, De Bruyne will remain with Pep Guardiola’s team for at least another year. The decision was influenced by concerns about uprooting his family, particularly regarding the schooling of their eldest son, Mason Milian.
As De Bruyne approaches the final 12 months of his current contract, his future remains a topic of interest.
