Transfer: Oshoala set to dump Barcelona for another club

Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, is on the verge of completing a move to United States National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side, Bay FC, later this week. The Nigerian striker’s current contract with Spanish club Barcelona in the Iberdrola is set to expire this summer.

Bay FC, based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, is reportedly set to secure Oshoala’s services with a transfer fee of €150,000. The 29-year-old footballer, who joined Barcelona in 2019 from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian, has enjoyed a successful stint with the Blaugrana, winning the UEFA Women’s Champions League title twice during her tenure.

Oshoala’s experience extends beyond Barcelona, having previously played for prominent clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool Ladies.
