Tribunal: Charly Boy vows to go nak3d for Peter Obi

Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has made a striking declaration, pledging to conduct a unique celebration if the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal declares Peter Obi as the winner of the last presidential election in Nigeria.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Charly Boy stated that he would embark on a daring act of going naked, parading from one end of Bourdillon to the other, to express his jubilation at the announcement.

In his own words, he tweeted, “In the event that the Tribunal declares Peter Obi as the winner even before the case reaches the Supreme Court, what would you do that day? As for me, I will walk naked from one end of Bourdillon to Falomo.”

At the age of 73, Charly Boy remains a staunch supporter of Peter Obi, who was the presidential candidate of the Labour Party during the previous election. The passionate activist had previously called for insurrection in Nigeria due to Obi’s non-declaration as the winner of the presidential election.

Despite securing the third position in Nigeria’s presidential election held on 25th February 2023, Peter Obi has taken the matter to court, challenging President Bola Tinubu’s victory, firmly convinced that he was the rightful winner.

The presidential tribunal is expected to deliver its judgment after all parties have presented their arguments in court.
