Imo State Police Command says it has arrested and detained three policemen who shot and killed a wedding guest, Oguzie Nmezi, during a stop and search along Umuaka/Orodo road, on Saturday, December 5.

According to reports, the deceased, who is an indigene of Amucha village in Njaba LGA was on his way to a wedding ceremony when the trigger-happy police officers allegedly shot him dead for refusing to stop.

It was gathered that the officers flee the scene afterwards, leaving the victim in a pool of his own blood inside his Car.
