Soldiers from the 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Delta State have apprehended four suspects traveling in a tricycle and seized arms and ammunition.
Major Emmanuel Onoja, Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, revealed that the arrests occurred during a routine patrol near Nwawolo Market, behind Asaba Specialist Hospital.
Recovered items included an AK-47 rifle, a 9mm round, two cartridges, a magazine, a crowbar, a battle axe, Android phones, and a wallet containing 19 US dollars and ₦36,650. The suspects are now in custody for further interrogation.
