In what could be described as one of the greatest political tsunamis in the history of the state, thousands members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, pitched their tent with the All progressives Congress in Benue State.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the members deserted the PDP for the APC in Tarka LGA on Friday during the inauguration of the council executives of the party.

The former APC members said APC has not structure in Benue State, hence their decision to join the PDP.

Receiving the decampees, PDP chairman in Benue State, Sir John Ngbede said new decampees would be treated equally under the umbrella.
