Tunde Mark: Mammy market founder, Theresa Apochi-Ikwue, others pay tribute

Following the sudden demise of Tunde Jonathan Owoicho Mark, the first son of former Nigeria Senate President, David AB Mark, mourners and sympathizers have continued to pay condolences seven days after.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Mark died last week at the age of 51 after a long battle with cancer in the United Kingdom.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Gov Samuel Ortom and several other prominent leaders across Nigeria and beyond have all mourned the passing away of Mark.

Joining the long list of mourners, prominent Idoma daughters like Mrs Mami Ochefu, the founder of “Mammy market” in all Nigerian barracks and camps, Hon. Mrs Theresa Apochi Ikwue and a host of others are still trooping to the Otukpo residence of Mrs Hellen Omalo Mark, the mother of the deceased to pay their condolences.

The women, who visited the home of the ex-senate president on Thursday, described the demise of Mark as sad and heartbreaking.

Burial date of Mr Tunde Mark is yet to be announced by the family as at the time of filing this report.
