Tunde Mark: Uba, Ngbede, Benue assembly members visit David Mark

The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in next year’s general elections, Rt Hon Titus Uba in company of his Deputy, Sir John Ngbede and members of the 9th Benue Assembly on Thursday, November 3, 2022 paid condolence visit to the former President of the Senate, Sen. David Mark at his Abuja residence over the death of his son, Tunde Mark.

The former President of the Senate lost his first son, Tunde Mark recently in a London hospital at the age of 51.

Speaking on behalf of the team, Engr. Uba noted that the entire Assembly was saddened by the news of the demise of Tunde who he said was already making significant impact in his chosen endeavour.

He said it was quite disheartening that a father buries son, especially one who was a source of joy to the family, but urged the former President of the Senate and his family to find solace in the fact that death is an inevitable end to all mortals.

The Benue number one Lawmaker prayed that God Almighty grants the deceased eternal rest and the family the grace to bear the loss.

Responding on behalf of the family, the former Senate President, David Mark expressed deep gratitude to the PDP guber candidate and his entourage for identifying with them during their moment of grief, saying they were further strengthened by the visit.
