Tunde: What Ngige said about death of David Mark’s son

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Sen. Chris Ngige has commiserated with former Senate President, David Mark, on the demise of his son, Tunde Jonathan Mark.

Ngige also extended his condolences to the people of Otukpo town, Benue South Senatorial district and the entire Benue State on the death of the eldest son of his colleague in the Seventh Senate.

The former Anambra State governor, in a statement by his media office yesterday, described the demise of Mark’s son as an irreplaceable loss of a young, vibrant, energetic and dynamic young man at his prime.

Ngige said: “This is a very sad news. It is normal for children to bury their parents at very ripe age, but when it happens the other way round, it is very disheartening.

“I share in the pains of the family of the Okpokpowulu Idoma, the people of Benue South and the entire Benue State.

However, as we mourn, we should not lose sight of the fact that we are all mortals who are destined to depart from this earth one day. We should understand that God gives and takes life.”

Ngige prayed Almighty God to comfort the family of David Mark, their relatives and friends, while granting them the fortitude to bear this great loss.
