Tunde’s Passing: Oche leads Ado stakeholders on condolence visit to David Mark

James Oche on Sunday, 13th November, 2022 led stakeholders of Ado Local Government to pay a condolence visit on the family of Senator Dr. David Mark following the death of his son, Jonathan Owoicho Tunde.

The visit followed the thanksgiving mass of the successful burial of the late Tunde who was, yesterday laid to rest in their country home in Otukpo Benue State.

Among Ado stakeholders who joined Mr. Oche at the thanksgiving and participated in the condolence visit were Chief Denis Ekpe Ogbu, Hon Otse Otokpa, Hon Alex Ogaba and Hon John Otokpa.

Others were Hon Augustine Ogbu, Hon Stephen Aluna, Hon Attah Ede, Hon Solomon Aboh, Hon Macjohnson Odey, Hon Susan Ogbiloja, Hon Martina Otsapa among others.

Speaking shortly after, Oche said it was a condolence visit to a father and mentor Sen. Mark and his family over the passing of his first son. He maintained that, Ado Local Government was standing with the family in their moment of grief and had to demonstrate same through personal call. He prayed for the fortitude to bear the loss and prayed for the peaceful repose of Tunde’s soul.

Sen. Dr. David Mark, a former president of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria had last month lost his son, Tunde to ill health and the visit, our source understands is one of the many to show solidarity with the family in their moment of sorrow.
