Two arrested for stealing police station signpost in Kano

The Kano State Police Command has apprehended two individuals suspected of stealing the sign post from the Bachirawa Police Station in Ungogo Local Government Area.

According to SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the command’s spokesperson, the arrests were made with assistance from local residents. He shared the update on Facebook Wednesday.

In his message, translated from Hausa, Kiyawa stated, “The person who stole the Bachirawa Police Station sign post and the accomplice who received it were working together. The community has now provided a new sign post.”

“We are grateful to the people of Bachirawa.”
