The Benue state PDP Governorship candidate in the forth coming general elections who is also the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Titus Uba has pledged a better welfare package for casual staff of the State Assembly if elected as governor.
Engr. Uba who made the pledge when he received casual staff of the State Assembly in his office at the Assembly complex Tuesday said, he was aware of the complementary services they offer to the legislative arm of government and would give priority attention to their welfare if elected as governor come 2023 and charged them to work assiduously for the victory of all PDP candidates in next year’s general elections.
Also speaking, the deputy Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chris Adaji appreciated the group for identifying with their Principal and urged them to mobilize support for him as well as other PDP candidates in their communities adding, that Uba remains the only governorship candidate who would give their welfare topmost priority.
Earlier, Mr. Sesugh Oraduen who spoke on behalf of the group said they were in the Speaker’s office to congratulate him for his resounding victory at the PDP Guber primary election and to assure him of their solidarity and support at all times.
The group who pledged to individually mobilize support for Engr. Uba and other PDP candidates at the forth coming general elections also recalled how the Speaker, upon assumption of office , increased their monthly stipends by one hundred percent and expressed optimism in his ability to do more not only for Staff of the State Assembly but also for the generality of Benue people.
The group further called on all well meaning people of the State to key into Uba’s governorship project describing him as the best man for Job.
