Talent manager and entrepreneur Ubi Franklin reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with socialite Cubana Chief Priest at a high-profile event held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on Thursday.

The incident was first reported by the Instagram blog of journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus (SDK), who claimed that tensions escalated when Chief Priest allegedly attempted to block Franklin from approaching a group of friends associated with music star Davido.

The blog post alleged that the clash involved heated exchanges and eventually led to both men throwing punches before onlookers intervened to separate them.

According to the report, the confrontation may be linked to Franklin’s alleged efforts to re-enter the inner circle of Davido’s associates. Some sources claim that he is making moves to secure an invitation to the upcoming wedding of Davido and his wife, Chioma, scheduled to take place in August in the United States. Cubana Chief Priest is believed to be opposed to these efforts.

While the physical confrontation has not been officially confirmed by either party, the blog stressed that “aside from the fight, any other thing you read is alleged.”

The reported altercation has sparked widespread speculation on social media, with many observers awaiting further details or statements from those involved.
