Ugboju agog as Oche G12 storms Ej’Alekwu festival, reveals plan to electrify Ombi, Ipolo communities

There was massive jubilation in Akpachi and Efeyi, Ugboju as Hon. Oche Joseph Godwin, the founder and Chief Executive of G12 Foundation chaired the 2020 edition of the annual Ej’Aje festival of the Ugboju people of Otukpo local government on Sunday March 22nd.

The festival which was presided over by the new Och’Ugboju, Chief Omale Abah reportedly recorded the highest number of participatants since the history of the occasion.

Hon. Oche while addressing his people during the event categorically stated that he’s a proud son of Ugboju who is very impressed with the culture of his people as he thanked the elders of the land for standing by the truth and also preserving the culture of their forefathers.

The chairman of the occasion who walked into the event with over a five hundred men entourage went further to reveal plans to flag off the electrification project of Ombi 1, Ombi 2, Ipolo 1,Ipolo 2 villages who have been living in darkness alongside the Deputy Governor of Benue State, H.E Chief Engr. Benson O. Abounu on Monday 23rd March.
