A UK-based Nigerian woman risks deportation as her husband plans to marry another woman and remove her from his visa.
She married her husband shortly before he moved to the UK in 2022 and joined him six months later as his dependant.
Two weeks ago, she grew suspicious due to inconsistent details he shared about an upcoming trip to Nigeria. After checking his phone, she discovered he was planning to marry another woman.
Now, she urgently needs:
Advice on how to protect herself and retain her right to stay in the UK. Given her husband’s well-laid plans, she may have no more than three weeks.
Assistance in obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) that would allow her to stay as a Skilled Worker. She currently works as a Support Worker but is on a dependent visa.
