Some music lovers in the United Kingdom have rejected Grammy award-winning artist, Burna Boy concert, and have opted for Wizkid’s instead.
This is coming after Burna Boy -born Damini Ogulu- announced he would be making his first headline appearance at one of London’s biggest entertainment arena “The O2”.
Taking to their page on Twitter, The O2 has disclosed that Burna Boy will be part of their events this August.
“As part of our Welcome Back Shows, @burnaboy is heading to London playing his first headline show at The O2 on 27 August 2021. On O2? Priority Tickets 26 May 10 am https://priority.o2.co.uk/tickets General on-sale 28 May 10 am,” the tweet read.
However, it appears that some music lovers in the UK have rejected Burna Boy and have opted for Wizkid instead. Some say they would rather pay to see Wizkid perform his new album “Made In Lagos”.
“£93 to STAND at a Burna Boy concert – I’m good. Wizkid could get that money from me because Made in Lagos is a masterpiece. Might have to sit this out,” one online user tweeted.
Another tweet reads; “I’ll happily pay £120 for wizkid, but burna? let me be singing onyeka at home.”
Another Twitter user wrote: “I actually saw Burna at his last concert, it was magical. I’ll just wait for Wizkid sha, I’ll happily pay £100+ for that. Not to see Burna again.”
