A 20-year-old unemployed man, Bulus Sunday, has been sentenced to one year in prison without the option of a fine by an Area Court in Jos.
This judgment was delivered by Judge Mr. Shawomi Bokkos after Sunday pleaded guilty to stealing refrigerator parts.
The case was reported on September 7 at the “A” police station by the complainant, Pandong Demi.
According to the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Ibrahim Gokwat, the convict unlawfully entered the house and stole refrigerator panel, chiller panel, and copper wires before being apprehended by the security guard.
Gokwat said that the offence contravened the provisions of the Plateau State Penal Code. (NAN)
