Unknown gunmen attack BIRS inspection point, kidnap 5 staff in Benue
Unknown gunmen today attacked the Benue State Internal Revenue Service (BIRS) officially gazetted inspectio pint in Vandeikya Logal Govenment destroying property an kidnapped 5 staff on duty.
The gunmen dressed in military uniform drove in a Hilux Van with three Motorcycles invaded the Branch Atser BIRS inspection point in Vandeikya, burning staff motorcycle, shooting sporadically, kidnapped five BIRS staff and hurt several others.
As at the time of this report the whereabout ofthe staff are unknown, even as the matter has been reported to the Vandeikya Divisional Police Station.
