At least 74 people have been severely injured in an attack on the convoy of the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
This was disclosed by the Spokesman of the Atiku Campaign Council, Senator Dino Melaye on Wednesday.
Melaye alleged that the attack was perpetrated by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Borno state.
Melaye also stated that several vehicles were destroyed following the attack.
“They wanted to prevent us from holding the campaign, as we speak, 74 people were injured and hospitalised.
