The marital journey of Nollywood actress, Nkechi Sunday Blessing has ended.
Nkechi Blessing Sunday was married to Opeyemi Falegan, a union many had envied and celebrated.Following the development, the two ex-lovers – Nkechi and Falegan have been throwing e-salvos.
The actress, who spoke for the first time since the union crashed like a badly arranged pack of cards, claimed she walked away from the union after rumours emerged that her husband walked away from their marriage.
Before the love went sour, the love birds, who were 2021, had treated fans to their PDA.
In a video that trended on Instagram Wednesday evening, Falegan who is also a politician claimed that she would not want to be seen with Nkechi whom according to him is notorious for not being ‘faithful’ to him.
Nkechi fired back saying she walked away from the marriage for reasons best known to her. The actress also berated the politician on several slides on her Instagram stories.
Speaking in the wake of the break-up, Nkechi said she felt relieved to have left her husband using expletive words and insisted that she would not want to remain in a relationship with a man who seemed to be living a fake life and lacked the financial strength to take care of him.
“You want to turn me into a bigger (sic) cos of your useless Foundation that you don’t have money to run. Who begs for money to help others? If you no get, go and rest (sic),” she added.
The union it was learnt started having issues when Nkechi completed her house in Nigeria as her husband stayed away from the housewarming.
