US Election: Davido congratulates Trump on re-election

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, known as Davido, has congratulated Donald Trump on his re-election as the 47th President of the United States.

The singer also offered words of encouragement to Vice President Kamala Harris after her defeat, calling her a “solid woman” and urging her to be proud of her accomplishments.

On his X handle, Davido wrote, “Congratulations 47th POTUS @realDonaldTrump. But you @KamalaHarris should be proud! You did that! A solid woman.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Davido shared that he participated in the American election for the first time, though he did not disclose his chosen candidate.
