Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana has once again asked Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi to vacate his seat.
Falana made this call following a high court verdict which sacked Umahi and his deputy, for defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Speaking on Channels TV Politics Today, Falana reiterated that votes belong to the party, and not an individual.
He said, “Federal High Court ruled that Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State should vacate his office including his Deputy and some lawmakers in the state House of Assembly because of their defection.”
