VeryDarkMan arrives Ikeja Court in grand style for alleged defamation suit

Controversial online activist, Vincent Otse, also known as Very Dark Man (VDM), has arrived at Ikeja High Court for the hearing of a defamation lawsuit filed against him.

VDM was seen at the court on Thursday wearing an Edo attire, with his supporters cheering him on. He is facing legal action from prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), and his son, musician Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the court had previously ordered VDM on October 14 to remove a video he posted on September 24, which was deemed defamatory against Falana and his son.

In addition, the court directed that an originating summons be served to VDM via his lawyer, Mr. Deji Adeyanju, within 14 days. As of the time of this report, the court had yet to hear the lawsuit.
