Social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has accused Ubi Franklin, the talent manager and manager to singer Davido’s wife, Chioma, of involvement in a ₦10 million scam.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan alleged that Franklin failed to honor a business agreement with a man, misusing Chioma’s name in the process. According to him, the transaction occurred in June 2024, and Franklin has since refused to refund the money.
To support his claims, VeryDarkMan played audio recordings of conversations between Franklin and the alleged victim. He then issued a 72-hour ultimatum, demanding that Franklin repay the money.
VeryDarkMan also revealed that this isn’t the first time he has accused Franklin of such behavior, claiming that the manager has previously misused Davido’s name for personal gain.
Narrating the incident, he wrote: “@Davido, I cannot understand how Ubi Franklin, a manager under 30BG, is out here scamming people. I have reported him to you before. Anyways, Ubi Franklin, you have till Tuesday to pay up.”
