Veteran Nollywood actor Columbus Irisoanga ‘Igbudu’ of Isakaba is dead

Veteran Nollywood actor Columbus Irisoanga, popularly known as ‘Igbudu,’ has passed away.

The news of his death was shared by fellow veteran actress and politician, Hilda Dokubo, in an Instagram post.

Hilda expressed her sorrow, stating that the loss of Columbus is particularly heavy for the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport) in Rivers State and the Nollywood industry.

“There can’t be a shortage of angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport, Rivers State, and Nollywood,” Hilda wrote.

Columbus Irisoanga’s death comes just days after the passing of another Nollywood actress, 35-year-old Pat Ugwu.
