Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen was on fire for Napoli on Saturday afternoon against Sassuolo.
Osimhen wasted no time to get on the scoreboard, tapping in a ball from close range in the 4th minute, after a cross from Captain DiLorenzo was headed towards the Nigerian by Kvaratskhelia.
Before the 20th minute mark, Osimhen scored his second of the night to double Napoli’s lead. The goal involved the same three players from the first goal and in the same order. DiLorenzo sent a through pass to Kvaratskhelia who worked the ball well before passing into the 6 yards for Osimhen to shoot inside the net.
In the 36th minute, Mario Rui played a long ball over the Sassuolo defense for Kvaratskhelia to chase, who in turn excellently controlled the ball and fired into the net to make it two assists and a goal in the match.
Victor Osimhen completed his hattrick in the 77th minute. He reacted perfectly to a loose pass from Sassuolo in the midfield and sprinted well before placing the ball beyond the goalkeeper for his first Seria A hattrick.
