Victoria Asher: Senator Abba Moro mourns Benue NUJ Chairman

The Senator representing the good people of Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, commiserates with members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Benue State Council, over the death of its Chairman, Comrade Victoria Asher.

Comrade Asher died Saturday morning at about 8:00am at the Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi after a (C/S) surgery.

Senator Moro describes the death of Comrade Asher as untimely, saying the journalism profession has lost a golden pen.

The Comrade-Senator commiserates with her immediate family, colleagues and the Nigerian media industry at large, over the sad loss.

While praying God for the repose of the departed soul, the lawmaker urges the NUJ Benue Council to keep the legacy of the newswoman alive.

He prays God to give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
