VP Osinbajo celebrates one year after escaping death in helicopter crash

One year after escaping death by whiskers, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is thankful to how God for saving his life after the chopper conveying him crash-landed in the Kabba area of Kogi State during campaign.

The helicopter crash-landed on its side but he and the crew were unscathed.
However, the Lagos-based Caverton Helicopters company in a statement blamed “unusual weather conditions.”
On Wednesday, Osinbajo said he was grateful to God for giving a second chance.

He wrote on Facebook, “It would have been remembered as a day of sorrow because of the helicopter crash on February 2, 2019 involving me and 11 others but we thank God it is instead a day of victory and thanksgiving.”
