WAEC opens portals for 2025 WASSCE school recognition, CASS uploads

Schools planning to register candidates for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) must complete their recognition and upload Continuous Assessment Scores (CASS) by December 13, 2024, according to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

WAEC announced the opening of online portals for school recognition and CASS uploads for the 2025 WASSCE on Tuesday.

In a statement signed by Mr. A. Adebolu, Head of Exams for the Branch Controller, WAEC outlined that the school recognition portal will be open from September 2 to December 13, 2024. Schools are advised to finalize their recognition and make necessary payments within this period.

The portal for uploading CASS 1 & 2 will be available from September 2 to December 20, 2024. Schools are urged to complete their CASS uploads before the deadline, as the portals will close at midnight on the specified dates, with no extensions.
