Nigeria’s Super Falcons most in-form player Rasheedat Ajibade has confirmed the team’s readiness to face host Morocco in the semi-final, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
Super Falcons edged the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the quarter-final of the ongoing African Women Cup of Nations and qualified to face the Atlas Lionesses for a place in the final.
Ajibade, who’s goal nailed the Indomitable Lionesses said they knew that the tournament will not be easy but they came prepared for every match.
“We knew it’s not going to be an easy tournament but we have prepared for it.
“It’s going to be a tough game against host Morocco but we are ready and prepared. “The Super Falcons have grown as the matches come after the sad defeat to Banyana Banyana of South Africa, so we’re ready to face any team to win the tournament and we will do our best to win,” she said.
The match against Morocco is slated for Rabat on Monday.
