Watford send farewell message to Emmanuel Dennis

Championship side Watford have bid farewell to Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis, who sealed a permanent transfer to newly promoted Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Dennis topped Watford’s scoring charts last season with 10 goals in 35 games in all competitions.

Unfortunately, his impressive goal feat was not enough to help Watford avoid relegation to the second-tier division.

He featured in the Hornets’ first two matches of the 2022/23 Championship campaign but has now secured a switch back to the top-flight.

His move means he joins compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi at Forest.

Commenting on Dennis’ move, Watford wrote on Twitter:”Emmanuel Dennis has completed a permanent transfer to Nottingham Forest.

“All the best for the future, Emmanuel.“
