We didn’t fix nor call for any stakeholders meeting in Benue South – APC

We wish to inform all members of our great Party APC and the general public, that the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue South has not fixed any Stakeholders meeting for 8th October, 2021 at Double K Hotel Otukpo as being peddled around in the news and on social media.

Therefore, we urge all our stakeholders and members to disregard any information of such from any radio station or social media announcement calling for any meeting on 8th October 2021.

The party has hierarchies of operations as regarding how party meetings are convened, in line with the provisions of the party’s constitution, so, no member can call for any meeting of the party except the appropriate party’s EXCO.

Those who are calling for the said meeting claimed in their notice, that they have a message from the Leader of the party in the State, Sen George Akume but we all know that the distinguished Senator who is the incumbent Minister of Special Duties & Intergovernmental affairs has been a party and have full respect for party organs, therefore would not give any message for the party faithfuls to any individuals outside the party Exco.

WE advise those behind the so called meeting to please, desist from actions capable of bringing disaffection into the party.

We are one family and we must learn to respect the organs of the to foster peace and unity amongst us.

Signed:

Comrade Abba Yaro

State Chairman APC Benue State Chapter.

Hon Mohammed Hassan,

Zonal Chairman,

APC Zone C,

Benue State.
