The Labour Party, LP, has failed the report that its National Chairman, Julius Abure, has resigned.
On Wednesday, there were reports that Abure resigned as LP’s National Chairman.
The reports said Abure alleged that the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi cannot win in 2023.
Responding, the party dismissed such reports, which it described as false.
In a tweet, LP blamed the opposition for such lies, adding that Abure has not dumped Obi.
The party tweeted: “Please disregard the news going around that our @NgLabour National Chairman has resigned and dumped @PeterObi.
“It is a lie from the opposition. We are set to take back Nigeria come 2023.”
