In the letter sighted by IDOMA VOICE, Chief Onoja declared his unreserved support for Governor Alia’s second-term ambition, describing the governor’s leadership as visionary, transformative, and people-oriented.

As an elder statesman and citizen of Benue State, I am privileged to witness your unprecedented efforts and dedication to the development of our dear state,” Chief Onoja wrote.

He noted that within the last three years, the Alia administration has recorded significant progress in key sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and agriculture, while also ensuring the regular payment of workers’ salaries and retirees’ emoluments.

Chief Onoja highlighted major infrastructure projects executed by the administration, such as the Obagaji–Okokolo Road in Agatu LGA, the Awajir–Oju Road linking Gwer-East, Konshisha and Oju LGAs, the Igumale–Agila Road in Ado LGA, the Makurdi underpass, and the completion of the Otobi Water Works, which he said resolved the long-standing water challenge in Otukpo.

“I sincerely urge fellow citizens of Benue State to give all necessary support to His Excellency to enable him continue his good work of repositioning the state for the benefit of all,” he said.
