“We nearly got married – Kcee opens up on past romance with Nollywood actress Ebube Nwagbo

Nigerian Afrobeats star, Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has opened up about his past relationship with Nollywood actress Ebube Nwagbo, revealing that they came close to getting married.

Speaking on the Tea With Tay podcast hosted by Temisan Emmanuel, the Limpopo crooner reflected on the romance, describing it as one of the most talked-about relationships of that era.

“My scandals happened before social media became what it is today,” Kcee said. “I was just a young guy dating an actress. Back then, I loved actresses — who wouldn’t? Our relationship was always on the front pages. Ebube Nwagbo and I were everywhere — red carpet shows, newspaper headlines. We were close to getting married, but whatever happened, happened.”

Kcee married his wife, Ijeoma, in 2010. The couple has two children.

Meanwhile, Ebube Nwagbo remains single and has over the years been linked to several high-profile men, including Ogbonna Kanu, Emmanuel Emenike, and Ray Emordi.
