The speakers lauded Governor Ortom’s projects in the community particularly the Daudu – Gbajimba and Origbo – Imande – Akpu – Gbajimba roads saying they have boosted economic activities and enhanced security in the area.
They regretted that they did not support the election of the Governor in 2015, but assured that they would vote massively for his re-election in 2019.
Those who spoke requested the provision of critical infrastructure, more appointments for indigenes, as well as the exploitation of mineral deposits in the area.
In his response, Governor Ortom assured that the community would get its due during his tenure.

The wife of the Governor, Dr. Eunice Ortom, commended the community for supporting her programmes for curbing the spread of HIV particularly among teenagers.
