What God told me about Lagos – Funke Akindele

Funke Akindele, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in Lagos, said the opposition was ready to work for the people.

Akindele said God called her and the governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) to change the story of the state.

The famous actress spoke on Sunday at Ayo Ni O Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District in Badagry.

Akindele noted that her emergence was divine as she was selected “despite the crowd that struggled to be chosen”.

“We were called by God, if not we would have backed out”, NAN quoted her saying.

Akindele assured that the team would “change the story of Lagos State” for better.

Sunday Hunyinbo, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman in Badagry, told the PDP to fulfill its campaign promises if elected.

“Badagry has been marginalized enough. We are praying for you, God will take you there”, he prayed.
