What Peter Obi said about Atiku’s emergence as PDP presidential candidate

Peter Obi, presidential aspirant of Labour Party has congratulated his former boss, Atiku Abubakar, on his emergence as the standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Atiku emerged the PDP candidate on Saturday after polling 371 votes to beat his closest rival, Nyesom Wike, who scored 271 votes.

Obi, who was the running mate to Atiku in the 2019 presidential election, in a tweet congratulated Atiku, and prayed God to continue to bless him.

He tweeted, “On behalf of my family, I sincerely congratulate my leader and dear elder brother, H.E @atiku, on his emergence as the 2023 presidential flag bearer of the
@OfficialPDPNig. I pray that the Almighty God who sees your goodness will continue to bless you now and always. -PO.”
