What you need to know about Benue ICT Ecosystem training

In an effort to create employment opportunities for youths, the Benue State government is collaborating with Troika Tex Digital Communications Ltd., BishBerry Digital Solutions Ltd., Google and Microsoft to conduct a comprehensive tech skill development for youth.

The training which is scheduled to commence in the coming weeks, is designed to equip the participants with digital skills and international certifications ranging from Digital Marketing and e-Commerce, Advance Data analytics, Data science and analysis, UI/UX (user interface/user experience) programming, frontend and backend programming to mention but a few.

Here are what you ned to know about Benue ICT Ecosystem training; 

  1. Collaborative Initiative: The Benue State government is partnering with Troika Tex Digital Communications Ltd., BishBerry Digital Solutions Ltd., Google, and Microsoft to implement a comprehensive tech skill development program for the youth.

  2. Youth Employment: The primary goal of the program is to create employment opportunities for young individuals in Benue State. By equipping them with digital skills, the initiative aims to empower the youth to thrive in the technology-driven job market.

  3. Upcoming Training: The training sessions are set to begin in the near future, allowing participants to gain valuable digital skills that are in demand across various industries.

  4. Diverse Skill Sets: The program offers a wide range of skill development areas, including Digital Marketing and e-Commerce, Advanced Data Analytics, Data Science and Analysis, UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) Programming, Frontend and Backend Programming, and more.

  5. Technology-Driven Economy: The initiative acknowledges the shift towards a technology-driven economy and emphasizes the importance of arming the youth with relevant skills to succeed in this dynamic environment.

  6. “Benue Go Digital Skills Programme”: The program has been named the “Benue Go Digital Skills Programme.” It underscores the state’s commitment to fostering digital literacy and expertise among its youth.

  7. Youth Involvement: The program plans to train a substantial number of youths—no fewer than 2000—in various digital skills of their choice, preparing them for impactful contributions to the technology sector.

  8. Application Process: Interested participants can apply by visiting the official website, www.benuetechskills.ng. The application period opens on August 23rd, 2023, and closes on August 30th, 2023.

  9. Online Forms: To apply, individuals are required to fill out online application forms and retain their acknowledgment for reference.

  10. Collective Progress: The program’s overarching vision is to unite efforts and cultivate a generation of skilled professionals who will drive innovation, enhance productivity, and elevate Benue State to new levels of development through technology.
